What can I say, I have had a wonderful life. I married a wonderful guy and have three wonderful intelligent and caring boys. I have had downs, I lost two siblings and had a “close encounter” with the Lord, but so much to be thankful for. Roger retired early and we moved to Colorado where we have found great friends and a very active lifestyle. Looking forward to seeing old classmates but so hard to believe it has been 50 years.

As for significant changes since the 50th class reunion, well I had a biking accident in France last fall. All is well. I shattered (7 pieces) my tibia plateau and now after a second operation I think I can see the end of this tunnel. I am a lucky gal it could have been worse. Overall quite an interesting and depressing at times experience. I had to be Med-a- Vac’ed home from France. My shattered tibia is finally improving. Complications that developed that I was not aware of until mid February put me four months behind. The outside hardware had slipped into my joint and as I tried to bend the knee I hit screws. That hardware is out, but the delay caused more weakness, so I started at the beginning. I’m not on my bike yet, but by September I should be able to ride on the flats.

My very best to wishes to everyone good health. Fondly Sue
